About Lori Lemasters
My book You're A Caregiver, Not a Saint: Yeah Write is a therapeutic journal workbook that tells the story of my journey as the Primary Caregiver to my parents for the final years of their lives. After 30 years as a mortgage professional I left the field to care for my mother who survived a stroke and my step father who was on dialysis. During this process I used therapeutic journal writing to manage the my self-care.I have partnered with organizations such as Colorado Respite Coalition, a Program of Easter Seals Colorado, Colorado Alzheimer's Association, Parkinson's of the Rockies, to name a few. I have also hosted several Care-FULL Conversations for AARP as well as Tuesday Talk's Outside the Box, which are available for viewing on YouTube to teach journaling for self-care.Specialties: Facilitating Journal to the Self© workshops (classes can be individually tailored )
