We work with organizations and their people to create sustainable, socially just, and collaborative work teams. We do this through facilitating complex and difficult conversations - about strategy, change and conflict. We also coach and consult with leaders and their teams, anchoring their actions to values. We can help in good times and bad times to work through the mush that comes with growth.

Chair, 2018-2020

The College is the licensing and regulatory body for all physicians and surgeons in British Columbia, which establishes, monitors and enforces standards of qualifications to ensure safe and quality care to patients in the Province. Lori served as one of 6 public members appointed to the Board by the BC Provincial government. Lori was a member of the Executive Committee, Chair of the Ethics Committee, and a member of an inquiry panel that reviews complaints against registered physicians. Having completed her allowable 6-year term on the Board, Lori continues to serve on a number of committees of the College as a public representative.

As the Corporate Director of People Strategies at Providence Health Care, Lori ensured alignment of programs under the strategic areas of engagement, leadership, recruitment and wellness. Lori contributed her strategic focus and organizational development expertise to Providence's 6000+ staff and also worked collaboratively with other health organizations to generate and share leading people practices across British Columbia's health sector.

Served as the steward of the Faculty of Medicine's policy on Professionalism and commitment to equity and diversity. Conducted educational workshops on collaboration, conflict resolution and "relationship centered care." Also provided mediation and informal handling of complaints and concerns regarding professionalism and human rights.

Advised students, faculty, staff and administrators regarding human rights and equity rights and responsibilities. Designed and delivered educational programs for the university community on harassment and discrimination prevention, promoting inclusive classrooms, human rights and equity laws and policies.
