Superman was my obsession as a little girl. A simple farm kid with kind and loving parents who became a superhero. Someone who people looked up to. Invincible yet with a weakness. Even with the ability to fly, x-ray vision, body made of steel, he had one main focus, to save and help those around him.Today, without all the super hero abilities, I ultimately have the same goal as Superman; I want to help those around me. Throughout the last 25 years of my career, I continue to do work to accomplish that goal while raising over $13 million dollars resulting in key contributions to emergency medical care, medical research, community programming and medical equipment.Most recently, I spent almost four years working at STARS Air Ambulance as Events Manager/Development Officer Events. Responsible for every aspect of STARS Manitoba Internal events; Rescue on the Island, Critical Care on the Air Radiothon - Rural, Winnipeg and Westman along with many external events, I have developed and grown both internal and external event programs while contributing to the over running of the Manitoba Foundation.A highlight of my career was my time at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
