A lot of what I know about leading people I learned at the barn. A horse needs to know who is leading the herd, and a horse without a confident leader is unhappy. When you correct behavior, do it in the moment and then move forward. No antagonizing, no grudges, no punishing after the fact. Even a good horse will test you before he decides to work with you. My work across multiple industries including consumer food and beverage, financial services, and engineered electrical products gives me a richness of experience and diverse skill set.
