The Oklahoma Finance Authorities' mission, in part, is to assist in the creation, retention, and diversification of employment opportunities throughout Oklahoma. OFA is made up of two separate, yet collaborative, entities - Oklahoma Industrial Finance Authority, a non-appropriated state agency created in 1959, and Oklahoma Development Finance Authority a public trust created in 1974. As a resource for growth and expansion, OFA serves the capital needs for Oklahoma's education, public agencies, 501c3's and industrial businesses.
