Current➤ Providing care for patients experiencing mental health crisis including psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar, depression, and addictions, and successfully supporting patients suffering from crisis intervention needs.➤ Utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing to help empower the patient to make individualized decisions and accomplish goals, while providing the patient with the information needed to make informed self-care decisions.• Ensuring delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective care consistent with the mission, values, and vision of the company, in accordance with Government regulations, licensing, and accreditation requirements.➤ Documenting and responding to patients' normal and abnormal statuses, while also developing patient-specific crisis plans designed to aid the patient in maintaining safety and reducing need for external intervention.➤ Acting as a patient advocate and aiding patients in developing skills to advocate for themselves, as well as helping participants identify triggers, and learn and apply positive cognitive- behavioral skills.➤ Actively participating in shared governance and goal setting, serving as a highly engaged, full partner on the care team, while proactively recommending program design modifications as needed in order to drive innovations in mental health.➤ Performing comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients, inclusive of the biopsychosocial and medical history with consideration to age, mental, social, and physical status, and response.➤ Formulating a plan of care, including discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family, and health team input, while assuming full responsibility for quality to maintain optimal patient health and restoration of function.➤ Ensuring individualized, goal-directed nursing care for patients and families to achieve desired patient outcomes, with realistic and measurable goals, as well as revising as needed to reflect the patient's changing status.
