Optimized daily bitumen production, as part of an integrated team, through a 140,000 bpd SAGD facility through continuous process monitoring, technical troubleshooting and management of operations schedule and budget. Main focus areas were bitumen/slop treatment, produced gas, natural gas, well pads, pipelines, and water treatment areas.- Coordinated multi-disciplinary teams to complete more than 30 process enhancement and optimization projects, totaling $1.5+ MM.- Conducted project scoping, prepared engineering packages and supported execution of projects.- Managed chemical inventory monthly through monitoring, forecasting and optimization.

Field-based rotator during the construction, commissioning and start-up of a 118,000 bpd SAGD facility.- Project manager for two mid-sized (~$1MM) projects: Operator Training Simulator and Bulk Nitrogen Supply System. Completed the conceptual design and managed construction through to commissioning and start-up. - Performed daily P&ID and data sheet checks, calculations and risk assessments for operating conditions during commissioning and start-up.- Facilitated and performed over 45 system walk downs and pre-startup inspections.

Worked along-side the EPC contractors as the owner’s process engineering focal point from concept design selection through detailed engineering for a 118,000 bpd SAGD facility. Involved in water treatment, produced gas, natural gas, well pads and pipeline areas.- Liaised with EPC process engineering team of 25+ individuals during peak staffing.- Conducted weekly squad checks and calculation checks for process and instrumentation and control documents.- Process representative in over 15 HAZOP, operability and model reviews totaling 75+ days.- Performed over 40 process simulations covering the above 5 plant areas, utilizing HYSYS and PIPESIM for scoping, checking, forecasting, studies, and regulatory applications.

Assisted with the planning, drafting, and finalizing major Capital Projects documents for a 118,000 bpd SAGD facility, including:- Request for AFE- Project Execution Plans- Contract Management Plan
