I was brought in as the dedicated resource to modernize and improve the utilities' Environmental training program to ensure production of consistent and effective employee training to mitigate compliance risk.Key accomplishments:- Managed Environmental training program and led project management and instructional design efforts to design, develop, and implement materials and solutions for compliance and systems training, including training plans, eLearning and instructor-led training courses, job aids, user manuals, reference websites, train-the-trainer courses, hands-on workshops, and more-Established online delivery platform for training by designing, developing, delivering company-specific eLearning modules which include in-house created audio narration, graphics and videos to ensure a consistent compliance message and enable flexible training options for over 2,000 employees-Provided Learning Management System (LMS) administration services for department by implementing and managing all training courses (eLearning and instructor-led) in Cornerstone LMS, including course creation, uploading / updating files, granting access, setting up proxy enrollment, reporting, troubleshooting, and mentoring new users-Solved challenge of how to introduce eLearning while continuing to offer centralized classroom training by devising and implementing an innovative solution to design “dual-purpose” eLearning: courses that can be delivered both online to individual employees, and in the classroom by instructors, reducing course time by 50%- Led and mentored a team of instructional design consultants to increase production of eLearning and develop first-ever Training Process and Style Guide-Simplified and focused course offerings for employees by working with stakeholders to strategically reduce and consolidate number of existing courses by 40%
