I oversee global brand marketing, communications, product innovation and creative for Patchology, Dr. Dana and dot dot dash (RBB portfolio of brands). As part of the Executive Leadership Team, I report directly into the CEO and help define and execute the overall company vision.

I led the Consumer Engagement Marketing department, managing a team of 9 and overseeing global social media, influencer marketing, PR, copy, brand partnerships, communications, customer care, CSR, and additional consumer-focused engagement tactics. First Aid Beauty was acquired by P&G in August 2018, growing my role in both scope and geographical reach.

I joined IT Cosmetics when it was an independent brand to drive awareness and consumer loyalty through social media strategy and engagement. I built and led a social media team that increased social following by more than 750,000 and significantly increased engagement/UGC. IT Cosmetics was acquired by L'Oreal in August 2016.

I oversaw social media, website content, email marketing and PR/communications for Oribe Hair Care, R+Co, V76 by Vaughn and Smith & Cult, developing and ensuring a unique voice and point of view for each brand. Supervised in-house team and a roster of freelancers.

I managed all content and communication needs for Oribe Hair Care, including website content (blog and PDP), email communications, social media, quarterly magazine, press releases and more. In 2014, I was part of a small launch team that worked to develop the voice and branding of three new brands: R+Co, Smith & Cult and V76 by Vaughn.

American Salon is the leading magazine for the professional beauty industry, covering hair, nails, skincare, makeup, business and design. I wrote, edited and assigned hundreds of articles on the latest in beauty trends; interviewed celebrity stylists and salon owners across the country; served as a guinea pig for new beauty services and hair techniques; and went backstage during Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week for nine seasons. I also created the American Salon blog, Facebook page and Twitter account and worked on the development and launch of StylistVoice.com, a networking community site for beauty professionals.

I worked as an associate editor and then a senior associate editor in Nielsen Business Media's Travel Group. During my time at Nielsen, I wrote and edited numerous destination profiles, ranging from Las Vegas to Portugal, and represented the magazines on press trips and at events.

While at Child, I was a general lifestyle editoral assistant, writing about everything from fashion and food to beauty and crafts. I eventually took over the magazine's toy coverage, which included organizing the annual toy awards and supervising the magazine's coverage of the annual toy show in NYC.

After completing prior internships at People and People StyleWatch, I returned to the magazine as a fulltime freelance reporter. My main responsibility was fact-checking several stories per issue, but I often had the opportunity to interview celebrities on the red carpet and over the phone. I also performed research and writing duties as needed.

I was part of a four-person team that created the live prototype for what would later become Quick & Simple magazine.
