Subcontracted to IBM to support DB2 V8 to V10 migration for a large financial institution in Columbus, OH assisting DB2 Systems staff with migration of over 125 DB2 subsystems from DB2 V8 to DB2 V10. Subcontracted to IBM to provide DB2 V7 to DB2 V8 upgrade support for a retail client in Florida. Upgraded 13 DB2 V7 subsystems, data sharing and non-data sharing to DB2 V8 NFM. Subcontracted to IBM to serve as a member of an SAP Basis Team providing DB2/SAP Database Administration (DB2 V9 NFM) support for a large insurance company in New York. Subcontracted to IBM to provide DB2 support for a large retail client in Pennsylvania. Provided Systems Programming and Database Administration support. Performed SMPE maintenance for DB2, and installation and maintenance for third party tools; Provided SQL tuning recommendations and DBA process improvement recommendations. Served as a member of SAP Basis Team providing DB2/SAP System Administration and Database Administration support for a large pharmaceutical company in North Carolina. System landscape consists of AIX application servers and DB2 data sharing with standby DB2 members for 24x7 availability. Performing SQL/system performance tuning and provided and implemented subsystem tuning recommendations for DB2 Buffer pools and Zparms.
