I use instructional design techniques to consult with clients to create impactful learning experiences. Using Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, VideoScribe, Acrobat, the MS Office Suite, After Effects, Soundbooth, and Audacity (among others), I create interactive stories to initiate specific actions in our audience, driving sales, service, and operations growth. I also do some coding in JavaScript, HTML, PMP, and Visual Basic to augment courseware or create interactive, user-friendly reporting (via Excel). I guide clients through the process of narrowing down content to focus on a well-defined purpose driven by a specific, measurable action the learner will take as a result of the learning event.

Focus on the advancement and success of the field sales organization with an emphasis on technical knowledge and skills. Specialty areas include Ethernet and Optical services (MEF Ethernet standards, SONET/SDH, DWDM, VPLS, Ethernet QoS, optical and Ethernet hardware, design and optimization) and storage/hosting/server technology. I enjoy the challenge of taking complex concepts and delivering them in an understandable and engaging way to people of all knowledge levels. My scope of training has expanded to some non-technical realms with my certification as an instructor of FranklinCovey's Presentation Advantage. I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to develop and grow the skills of my participants and help them find the joy in presenting and its value in providing excellent customer service.
