At Bank of the West I take the lead in identifying the applicability and impact Marketing and Social Media laws and regulations have bank-wide. I review and provide compliance guidance on customer facing marketing materials, including ad campaigns and social media activations.

During my tenure I served as primary Enterprise Risk Manager on social media strategies and initiatives, evaluating changes to laws, regulations and policies, including social trends and processes for vetting social properties, tools and related tools. I also managed high-risk training program development, including the first Corporate BSA/AML Training Program approved by the OCC, and the enterprise-wide CRCM Exam Prep Program designed for Wells Fargo Compliance and Risk Professionals.

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program is a non-profit agency whose mission is to advocate for quality of life and care for individuals in long term care facilities. Federal law and California law authorize our Ombudsmen to investigate complaints made by or on behalf of long-term care consumers and to assist consumers in exercising their rights that are guaranteed by law, including protection from financial abuse.I volunteer my time providing information, guidance and advocacy to residents of nursing facilities, residential care facilities and assisted living facilities in the Northern California Sierra Motherlode. The services are free and confidential.

Responsible for assessing needs, developing and delivering learning programs to City business groups. Led a cross-departmental group of HR, IT and Business Managers focusing on business and organizational development initiatives, and their impact to City readiness and succession planning. Managed and conducted Leadership Development and Diversity programs, performed compensation analysis, oversaw vendor relations and supervised the administrative functions of centralized training and facilities.

Responsible for identifying new locations and develop strategies to grow the training service business throughout the Western U.S. Directed and delivered sales, leadership-development and technical training programs for internal and external customers. Responsible for generating new and retaining existing business, which when combined, represented on average of $10 million annually. Hired and trained Training Business Managers, inbound and outbound Sales Executives, Instructors and support personnel. Developed and conducted targeted promotions, executive presentations; negotiated and secured new Corporate, Education and Government business contracts through numerous RFPs. Secured and managed $18 million Federal Training Services contract for the Department of Social Security Administration in partnership with Unisys, which represented the largest U.S. Government Training Contract.
