Lorii manifests her passion to foster equitable opportunities and outcomes for all through her work with Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) and her volunteer efforts throughout the Denver community. Lorii joined the DSF team as CEO in December 2017. Her prior professional experience includes executive roles with the entrepreneurial venture Denver Center for Arts & Technology, and Rebound Solutions, a local consulting firm specializing in strategy and change for public, private, and nonprofit clients. Lorii also spent nine years in business development for 9NEWS, focused on the development and stewardship of strategic partnerships and new initiatives, concluding an extended career in radio and TV with other media outlets. Lorii completed Rose Community Foundation’s Roots & Branches in 2012 and Leadership Denver in 2011. She has achieved local recognition as a 9NEWS Leader of the Year Finalist in 2021, DBJ Outstanding Women in Business Finalist in 2020, Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce Top 25 Most Powerful Women of 2019, Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Chamber Champion in 2014, and The DBJ’s Forty Under 40 in 2011. Most recently, Lorii was honored to be selected as a Woman of Distinction by Girl Scouts of Colorado and as a recipient of the Colorado Titan 100.Lorii’s passion for community service is a guiding force in all she does, as such, she actively serves on numerous nonprofit boards, advisory boards and/or committees including with Rose Community Foundation, MSU Denver, CU Denver School of Business, Swedish Medical Center, and Project Angel Heart, and is a former board member and chair of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation. She has also been an active mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado and has been involved with Kappa Kappa Gamma in varying local, state, and national roles.
