This summer I am fortunate enough to work in the Recruiting division here at GROWMARK. I will be assisting the fellow recruiters with summer intern programs and of course, recruiting agriculture's finest employees and interns.

Through my graduate program, I had the amazing opportunity to gain first-hand experience while learning ways to better myself in the student affairs field. This year I was honored to work in the Office of Student Engagement under Leadership Programs. This position gave me the freedom to be creative and use my planning skills to bring back campus events from the past or to create new ones. My role was meant to bring leadership opportunities to our students here at WIU through leadership workshops, conferences, and more!

This summer I divided and conquered the role as both the Youth & Collegiate intern as well as the Marketing intern. Due to COVID-19, I was limited to few events that I could plan and attend during the summer through my Youth & Collegiate role. To fill in the gaps, I happily worked as a Project Coordinator for the Marketing department within IFB.

This job consisted of:- Promoted LLCC Agriculture at recruiting events and communicated with prospective students- Developed marketing materials for the Agriculture department - Assisted in planning and hosting events

I was honored to be the first intern at Cass-Morgan Farm Bureau. I spent my summer working on multiple projects such as:- Planned and taught agriculture lessons to youth at the local YMCA summer youth camp- Created social media posts, flyers, and monthly announcements- Assisted in coordinating events
