In my role as Of Counsel at Baker Holtz, I devote my time to new business development and community engagement. My broad industry experience gives me a unique perspective in developing new clients. Over the years, I have assisted high net-worth individuals, owners and employees of numerous businesses and non-profit organizations in the areas of tax planning and preparation, estate and trust, retirement and financial planning, succession planning, ESOPs, and human resources, as well as audit, accounting and general business consulting. I have held various board positions with many organizations, including President. My focus in continuing education includes receiving a Certificate of Educational Achievement (CEA) in Tax Planning and Advising for Closely-Held Business, the Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP) designation and the Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP) designation.As an active member of the West Michigan community, I also hold board positions with several non-profit organizations. I am a founding member of the West Michigan Chapter of inFORUM (formerly the Women's Economic Club), Past President of the Western Michigan Estate Planning Council, I held the position of President of the board of the Kent County Parks Foundation, and I am past President of the board for St. Cecilia Music Center and continue to be a member of the Development and other committees.
