Lori has worked internationally and domestically in multiple industries including international finance, high tech, design, and media. As a trainer and advisor to high level financial risk executives at Olsen and Associates (O&A) in Switzerland, she appeared on Swiss and German TV, was a regularly featured commentator on Reuters and was instrumental in gaining front page coverage in the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and Wired magazine. She secured a critical content agreement with Time Warner that led to the popularity and widespread distribution of O&A’s content across the web and the creation of highly successful online trading company OANDA.com where she worked as the Director of Internet Sales. Lori has secured, trained, advised and served B and C-level clients across a wide-range of industries domestically and internationally, developing a rare understanding of the global economy and the role of the media and technology in the evolution of business. As a design entrepreneur, she appeared on a pilot TV series for OLN and fell in love with the creative team environment of film and TV. Her first TV experience behind the camera was with Life Network’s feature documentary, “The Red Road” as a coordinator securing locations, props, costumes and cast members. Adept at managing high intensity situations with sensitivity, she oversaw a film crew in the trauma room at Sunnybrook Hospital for the first season of Discovery Health’s “Situation Critical”. With Your Life Productions, Lori has worked on over 30 broadcast quality corporate and private tribute videos for prominent citizens in various capacities including: senior producer; researcher; associate producer; director; on-camera interviewer; team coordinator and leader.
