Over the summer holiday, I undertook an internship abroad as part of a team as a credit risk analyst. I shadowed the risk manager in analysing statistical data and identifying potential risk from reports in loan applications. From this, I gained knowledge of banking regulation and working in an environment of regulatory compliance. I also demonstrated crucial data integrity skills through the registration of each loan application in the database, regardless of if they were successful, to maintain accuracy in credit risk reporting and provisioning of future applications from the same business or customer.Roles I undertook:- Administration tasks, liaising with staff and clients over the phone, organising and analysing reports, using government databases.- Working autonomously and as part of a team to identifying solutions and implement and present solutions to executive management, respectively.

As a financial assistant, I was required to perform administrative tasks such as, preparing and drafting reports for senior managers and keeping receipts and files to keep records organised and searchable for the future. I was also tasked with calculating finances and analysing for erroneous figures, maintaining adequacy and data integrity across all areas of the accounting system.
