Responsible for human resources, public relations/business development, information technology, facilities management and other business functions including the overall operations of the law firm.

As Talent Management Chair for the GMA SHRM Programming Committee, I am responsible for maintaining all incoming Calls for Presentation; maintaining a database of prospective speakers (based upon CFP submissions, the WISHRM speaker database, and national SHRM speaker database).I act as a single-point-of-contact for Committee members who are seeking speakers; tracks and reports on event/speaker evaluations following each event; based on programming and annual evaluations, makes suggestions for future programs and speakers to fulfill the programming needs of GMA SHRM.

The Wisconsin Association of Legal Administrators (WALA) exists to improve the quality of management in legal services organizations, promote and enhance the competence and professionalism of legal administrators and all members of the management team, and represent professional legal management and managers to the legal community and to the community at large.As Past President of WALA, I continue to work with the State Bar of Wisconsin on projects and activities that benefit both organizations.

Co-chair practice management track educational sessions; assist with planning other aspects of the Wisconsin Solo & Small Firm Conference sponsored by the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bar Association.

In 2005, Lori achieved the Certified Legal Manager designation from the Association of Legal Administrators.A Past President of the Wisconsin Association of Legal Administrators, Lori currently serve on the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Conference and the Wisconsin Solo & Small Firm Convention's Planning Committees. She also serve on the Legal Administrative Professional Advisory Committee for Blackhawk Technical College.Her white paper, “Invisible or Integral: Get a Seat at the Boardroom Table,” was published in the ALA Management Encyclopedia. A co-authored article, “Wide Open Spaces: Advice for Starting Up a Solo Practice,” was published in the ABA GPSolo Magazine and selected for inclusion in the “Best of ABA Sections” publication in September 2007.
