In 2019, she served as global director of content for the International Fund for Animal Welfare — helping the 50 year-old NGO gain new audiences and tell new stories that reshape the way we view animals, land, people, and their connection to global climate change.She was producer and head of content for virtual reality series Project Empathy, which tackled human rights issues through the use of VR storytelling. The project was funded by Google and debuted VR content at the Democratic National Convention and with The Atlantic.She co-founded Smashd at Atom Factory, a music and entertainment management company. Smashd was created as a new voice (a publication + online platform) examining music, technology, culture, entrepreneurs, and startups. She also served as Editorial Director at Atom Factory, establishing and growing the company's first media division.She has served as an editor and columnist at Forbes, where she covered tech, startups, and entrepreneurs. Previous to Forbes, she was senior editor at the Los Angeles Times, leading digital strategy, content strategy, mobile technology, and emerging platforms. She holds a Masters in Fine Arts from University of Southern California.
