I provided tailored financial support, including the development of budgets, capitalization tables, 5-year forecasts, shareholder reports, and depreciation schedules, aligning closely with each client's unique requirements. One of my significant contributions was guiding multiple clients through the transition from cash basis to accrual basis accounting systems. This involved a meticulous review and refinement of their chart of accounts, resulting in streamlined and updated profit and loss statements and balance sheets. These enhancements not only facilitated readability for investors and upper management but also ensured compliance with GAAP standards. I also conducted comprehensive training sessions for accounting staff, equipping them with a thorough understanding of accrual accounting principles and financial statements.Furthermore, I undertook full-scope accounting responsibilities for several companies, encompassing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, end-of-month closing journal entries, and bank reconciliations. This comprehensive approach ensured seamless financial operations for our clients. What truly invigorated me about this role was the opportunity to engage with startups at various developmental stages. Forecasting outcomes based on management projections fascinated me, and I thoroughly enjoyed crafting intricate financial models to support decision-making processes. Atlas Accelerator also provided an enriching environment for honing my Excel skills, as the platform served as our primary tool for financial modeling, often requiring the utilization of complex formulas and macros.
