Born and raised in Hamilton, I’m a proud graduate of McMaster University and have had the pleasure of living and working in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Waterdown, and Carlisle. My love for the outdoors shines in my appreciation for the trails, waterfront, and escarpment—and my Bernese Mountain dog, Beacon, wholeheartedly agrees! When I’m not exploring nature, you’ll find me immersed in fitness, music, or community work. I enjoy running, working out, yoga, and playing both the piano and trumpet. Giving back is a big part of who I am, whether volunteering at the local food bank, contributing through the Optimist Club, or expressing my creativity as the author of six French books.After an incredible 31-year career as a Core French Teacher with the Halton District School Board, I was honored to be named the Distinguished Educator of the Year in 2019.
