• Project Leader for Next Generation Sensor Platform for Sperry Technology• Leading a team of physicists, engineers and technicians to develop the Next Generation Nuclear LWD tools (Density and Neutron Porosity)

• Leading a team of 50-70 in Sperry Technology to build and test new prototype tools in Houston, Texas and Nisku, Canada. Functions include test facility engineers, technicians, procurement planners, technical writers, machinists and welders• Responsible for ensuring safety of all team members, quality and expediency of test execution, and driving continuous improvement in every discipline

• Lead a team of 25-30 in Sperry Technology to design and execute testing of new prototype tool designs.

• Driving schedule, requirements verification and managing cost for multiple new product development projects in Sperry Technology including the new technology platform logging while drilling (LWD) tool and a dozen research initiatives in areas relevant to directional drilling and measuring/logging while drilling.• Continuing support as the Global Assembly Operations Manager driving multiple cost and efficiency saving efforts in the prototype assembly process

• Leading a team of 25-30 in Sperry Technology to build and test new prototype tool designs.• Responsible for continuous improvement in the prototype tool assembly process. Worked with team to develop and implement process improvements, with focus on the process to transition new products to manufacturing. Initiatives include a custom warehouse inventory tracking application, assembly configuration and status tracking software, and using both RFID and barcode technologies to improve asset location and configuration tracking.• Establish and pursue competency development and training for the assembly technician and project planning disciplines. • Manage staffing and workload for these disciplines across all major technology development projects in Sperry Technology.

• Manage test programs and prototype development for new tool designs including improvements to the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Logging (MRIL) telemetry tool and the High Data Rate Negative Pulser (HDR-NP) mud pulse telemetry data communication system• Specializing in Root Cause Investigation for failure events on production tool lines
