Initiated a new coaching model on campus housed in the Career Development Center to support and expand awareness of and delivery of student career development program, Career Identity Program. Grew awareness of and participation in the program on campus, expanding outreach University-wide to all first-year students and transfer students (5,000+). Spearheading a collaboration among colleges, departments, and residence life, taught faculty and staff about career development among college students and created a training program for advisors, faculty and staff, to develop their coaching skills, instilling a culture of coaching across campus. This initiative across campus created an interlocking career development support structure for students while creating a coaching culture among faculty, staff and advisors benefitting students from all colleges across campus.Instrumental in conceptualizing, developing, managing and delivering programming for a new initiative to first-year students in the College of Humanities & Social Sciences and College of Engineering. This program guided first-year students on a journey of self-exploration to career awareness and career readiness through hands-on workshops, activities and individual career coaching sessions over the course of a year. Recruited students to participate, created a pre- and post-assessment to determine the impact of the program on their career decisions, choice of major and creating a personalized academic- to-career plan. Students come away from the program with increased confidence in selection of their values-based career and a plan to gain preparational experiences to be career ready upon graduation. Presented data and outcomes at national and international conferences, written articles, papers and a book chapter on the success of the program.
