Clinton, Ms

As Graphic Designer in a student worker position, Lorin served under Mississippi College's Alumni, Advancement and Public Relations departments. Lorin's main tasks included aid in branding and designing for MC's 2014 Homecoming events. As a Graphic Designer, she coordinated with commercial printing companies to design various creative projects and oversee the production of projects assigned. Projects included direct mailing, business reply mail, brochures, postcards, flyers, letterhead, campus signage, advancement materials and slideshows. Lorin also won many awards for artwork designed at Mississippi College, her favorite accomplishment being MC's campaign "MC Celebrates Clinton." This year-long event was in collaboration with the city of Clinton. The logo for all the artwork was created by Lorin.

Clinton, Ms

During college, Lorin served as the Graphics Editor and Photographer for the student newspaper, The Collegian. During her senior year at MC, Lorin redesigned the masthead and publication, converting the paper to a broadsheet layout. Her responsibilities for the newspaper included designing each issue of the publication, overseeing print production, distribution, as well as scheduling and photographing featured university events. Lorin served as a proxy to the editor of the paper and aided in management of the paper, such as the selling of ads and assistance in distributing stories.

Jackson, Ms

Lorin completed an internship with the Mississippi Children’s Museum in Jackson, where she worked as a Marketing and Graphic Design Intern. As an intern, Lorin was responsible for designing the museum’s website content, signage, advertisements, campaigns and other branded materials. In addition, she photographed the museum and it's events, attending many press conferences, fundraising events and community opportunities.

Clinton, Ms

Lorin served as photographer for Mississippi College's student newspaper, The Collegian, and their annual, The Tribesman.

Magee, Ms

At Cups, an Espresso Café, Lorin worked as a barista. Her duties included creating work schedules, making and serving meals and beverages, cleaning, organizing office materials and paperwork as well as scheduling daily specials.
