About Lori Olk

I excel at helping clients see inefficiencies and get over the hump of problems that are stalling them out. I enjoy creating systems that streamline processes. I am an observer. It is one of my special skills to see what you need before you ask for it and keep on doing it without complaint. As an administrative assistant I understand how to prioritize the many tasks that land on my desk, keep track of them, and keep them moving forward. While at Delaware Investments I gathered up business cards from my "guys" and added them to their Outlook contacts so that when they did travel they could meet with these contacts should they wish to. Piles of business cards in ones desk are a waste of space.Prior to GPS I would make what I called "Meetings by Number" in NYC. Meetings were often close together but if one was not intimately familiar with the city knowing where the next location was could be daunting. I would take one map and overlay the others and make notes on one single paper map should they decide to walk between meetings. I was chosen to act as the secretary to the Risk Management Committee as I was competent with Adobe Writer and was able to easily compile the monthly meeting materials. I am undaunted by new software. I know that there are online tutorials and classes. I am able to research most problems and will ask questions when there is ambiguity.
