Mobile Learning Center And Kensington Nature Center

Mobile Learning Center:Present in-school educational programs to grades Pre-K-9th about history, nature, and science. Kensington Nature Center:Provide natural interpretation to nature center patrons and school groups. Maintain care for the nature center's live animals, including reptiles, amphibians, fishes, and a raptor.

Assist patrons with library-related needs, including requesting and loaning materials, accessing library resources, and answering reader's advisory questions.

Docent:Present educational tours and programs to groups of all ages in topics pertaining to natural history, including prehistoric life, geology, and ecology. Communicate with school groups to organize field trips. Staff:Supervise staff and manage building on weekends and during special events. Document finances, group demographics, and program schedules.Camp Explorations Counselor:Lead STEAM activities to children ages 5-13 and supervise all participants to ensure their safety and well-being.Camp Explorations Assistant Director:Supervise five counselors and up to 45 participants to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, and to help counselors with teaching and discipline. Create lesson plans and curriculum for nine weeks and 18 sessions of summer camp to inspire and instill an appreciation for the natural world.
