CurrentResponsible for District 2 operations and second in command to the Commissioner, responsible for maintenance of 480+ miles of rural road, right of way and 65+ bridge structures. Successfully identify roads and bridges in need of maintenance or replacement, materials needed and plan, schedule and coordinate road and bridge projects with road foreman, third parties, while maintaining project costs. Successful project management of all FEMA projects. Responsible for documentation of materials, resources and costs of damage repair caused by natural disasters to roads and bridges. Responsible for receiving inventory, confirming against purchase orders and submittal of invoices for payment. Successfully schedule and maintenance of District 2 heavy equipment and vehicles. Responsible for the development of contracts, requisitions, and request for bid specifications. Involved in selection of equipment purchases. Responsible for staff hiring, promotion, discipline, and termination.
