As a graduate with a degree in Economics, I am interested in transitioning my education and years of sales experience into an analyst role—to help drive increases in revenues, and improve executive decision making for business, finance, and/or sales functions. While in school, I was recognized for my perseverance, hard work, and ability to turn challenges into learning opportunities—especially in technically oriented courses.Highlights of my academic and sales accomplishments include:—Economics of Info & Orgs: Read and studied, “The Smartest Guys in the Room”—to prove moral hazard at Enron Corp., identifying and developing a whistle-blower point of view, and utilizing the company’s mission statement as a guide to contrast actual behavior.—Econometrics: Performed a statistical analysis to determine the effects of alcohol consumption on labor market outcomes, utilizing Stata software and two variables—number of children in household and sick days used, concluding that alcohol consumption did not have a direct effect.—International Economics: Partnered in the development of a presentation on the history of hyperinflation, and its effects on the countries of Germany, Zimbabwe, and Venezuela, performing research and data analysis to determine the cause as—money printing to alleviate high national debt, decline in economic output and export earnings, corruption, economic mismanagement, and dependence on imports.—Achieved $1M+ in annual sales for three consecutive years, earning multiple sales performance awards.—Mentored and developed new sales reps, all of whom went on to become high achievers and/or top producers in their assigned markets.—Utilized pay-by-scan analysis tool to drive accuracy in sales orders and forecasting, improving business intelligence and decision making. If you are looking for someone with a strong drive to succeed and a focus on quality and results, then I would welcome the opportunity for a personal interview.
