As the Regional Sales Leader for BrightView, I was fortunate to be part of a dynamic sales leadership team that developed a new sales organization post merger (Brickman Group/ValleyCrest). KKR purchased the two largest commercial landscaping companies in the country, and a major part of my responsibility was to implement sales processes and strategic selling methods where they didn't previously exist. During my tenure, I hired and trained 7 new Business Developers, and we grew revenue 170% year over year. We deployed Salesforce.com, and I ensured rapid adoption and compliance of the new CRM. Utilizing Salesforce.com, I developed weekly reporting that helped to socialize our forecast and pipeline development to our internal partners regularly. I implemented Miller Heiman and Challenger sales trainings, incorporated new activity and pipeline development metrics, and modified our selling focus on larger, more profitable clients.

Representing Thomson Reuters' Governance, Risk, and Compliance suite of solutions, I partnered with my clients to help them with some of their toughest compliance challenges. Our solutions helped streamline and secure their board communications and provided timely regulatory and legislative insight. We offered solutions that enabled our clients to screen 3rd party entities and provide enhanced due diligence intelligence on high risk subjects as well as M&A and Joint Venture opportunities. We supported SEC filing needs, and we implemented eLearning programs that improved employee retention and reduced overall risk within an organization.

Leading the inside sales team dedicated to Credit Unions, Financial Institutions, and Insurance companies, I had the fun responsibility of motivating and infusing excitement about the power of data and the many ways our clients could lower risk and market to new clients, helping them grow market share. During my tenure, I recruited and hired 4 new Sales Executives. We implemented Salesforce.com, and I developed new activity and selling metrics which increased our sales and pushed us ahead of budget in 2010 and 2011. My team was responsible for a $20M book with aggressive growth goals, and we were the top producing team in the division in 2011.

As the Regional Sales Manager for Iron Mountain, I led a talented team of outside sales professionals offering information management solutions to organizations in Georgia. We aggressively pursued new business and consulted with companies to help them understand the major risk factors with managing confidential information. During my tenure, we launched a new solution line which helped our clients move into the digital arena securely. We developed a roadmap for our top prospective clients, and we offered custom solutions that helped our clients reduce overhead, lower cost, and improve chain of custody with their most confidential information. As the Regional Sales Leader, my team consistently over-achieved revenue goals and we were ranked the top performing team in the nation in 2009.

As the Manager of Sales Development, I enjoyed working with the "rookie" sales professionals in the Southeast. It was my responsibility to mentor and develop all of the new hires in the southeast with the end goal of reducing turnover and developing a more tenured salesforce. I spent the majority of my time in the field covering an 8 state territory. During my tenure, I reduced the ramp up time for new sales reps, and I developed prospecting tools using Business Objects to help the total salesforce zero in on our best prospective targets. At the end of my first year in this role, I created a robust data file for each Business Developer that gave them more clarity on their best new targets and also growth targets within our existing client base.

I started my career with Iron Mountain as an Outside Sales Representative in an underperforming territory. After my first year in this role, I achieved 130% of quota and won Chairman's Club in 2004. When a sales position opened in Birmingham, AL, I relocated to that market to take on a larger territory in a new "hybrid" sales position. This enabled me to selling all of the product lines with document storage, secure shredding, and data protection and backup recovery.
