• Instruct graduate level course within the Sports-Based Youth Development specialization for students pursuing master’s degrees in Physical Education, Physical Activity Studies and Sports Management.• Guide students through organizational fundamentals for establishing successful youth physical activity and sports programs including philosophical foundations of administrative leadership, efficient management methods, strategic planning, goal setting, risk management, budgeting, marketing/public relations, and issues regarding equity and access within the context of professional and non-profit organizational models.

• As a member of the Operation’s Team, led strategy, implementation and oversight of membership, marketing and the preventative health and wellness portfolios for the largest YMCA Association in the United States with a key focus on health innovation, development of youth fitness programming and scaling chronic disease prevention programs to meet the diverse needs of New York City’s communities. • Provided vision, leadership and hands-on support to amplify individual and community integrated health programming and initiatives across 24 branches and 100 off-sites including preventative wellness, youth and family fitness, aquatics, sports, healthy aging, diabetes prevention and food policy. • Provided coaching, training and guidance to branch Health Lifestyles and Membership Directors to support the unique needs of their communities and the nuances of their respective branch facilities.• Directed Association-wide marketing campaign budgets to support the implementation of standardized materials, design guides, and tools across all branches. • Served as key spokesperson and thought leader for local and national media outlets and led presentations at high level health-related events and conferences.Coordinated with government agencies, community based organizations and advocacy groups to leverage resources and messaging on the importance of wellness and lifelong fitness.• Principal architect of the award winning Y-MVP Fitness Challenge – an interactive mobile app and fitness program designed to recognize, reward and motivate NYC's young people to increase their daily levels of Moderate to Vigorous Physical activity.

• Orchestrated all activities related to the creation and implementation of programs and policies to support high impact physical and health education programs for the largest school district in the nation serving 1.1 million students K—12 in 1,700+ schools.• Optimized an $18.4 million budget and built a team of 30 directors (starting as an office of one in 2003) to support the needs of NYC schools with tailored technical assistance based upon diverse community needs.• Chief architect for innovative, scalable health, fitness and sports initiatives. Introduced the first-ever NYCDOE School Wellness Council grants awarding $2,500 to 50 schools to serve students, staff, and families with a special focus on childhood obesity prevention. Spearheaded the creation of the "Move-to-Improve"​ elementary classroom fitness break curriculum and program, in collaboration with NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and trained 3,000+ teachers to help elementary schools strive to meet NYS physical education requirements.• Developed and executed comprehensive outreach, partnership and advocacy strategies. Collaborated and acted as liaison with City Hall, state and national government agencies, community based organizations, and advocacy groups. • Spearheaded the development and city-wide implentation of the NYC FITNESSGRAM assessment in collaboration with NYCDOHMH, Human Kinetics and The Cooper Institute to measure and track student fitness levels. In 2010, 810,000 students and their parents received an individual NYC FITNESSGRAM report in one of 10 home languages.• Founded the first ever city-wide C.H.A.M.P.S. (Cooperative, Healthy, Active, Motivated, Positive Students) Middle Schools Sports and Fitness League establishing 1,000 programs in 200+ schools. Developed league regulations and policy, designed developmentally appropriate coaching clinics, created and coordinated city-wide capstone events.• Supervised the city-wide Adaptive Physical Education program with 170 itinerant teachers in 300+ schools to support students with physical and cognitive disabilities across the five boroughs of NYC.• Conducted comprehensive needs assessments and designed systems to facilitate large scale data collection at the school, regional and city-wide levels. Researched the latest trends in health, physical education, sports development and wellness. Compiled and analyzed quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategy program development and policy recommendations.• Served as a key media spokesperson and testified before NYC, NYS and federal offices relating to all fitness, health and wellness programs in NYC public schools.

• Led day-to-day operations of inter-scholastic athletics with 200+ high schools involving 35,000 high school students in 34 sports for the largest school district in the nation.• Fostered strategic partnerships with corporate and community based organizations to drive fund development opportunities and increase support for youth participation in sports.• Developed and operationalized city-wide capstone events at iconic NYC sporting venues including Madison Square Garden, Yankee Stadium, and the New Balance Track and Field Center at the Armory.• Created and facilitated training workshops for thousands of coaches and athletic directors implementing fitness, athletic, and wellness programs.

• Choreographed, designed and led a variety of dynamic and interactive group fitness classes including Meditation Drumming, Cardio Swing, Cycle Karaoke, and Spinning, in addition to strength and cardio workouts at Signature Crunch Fitness locations across New York City.• Presented master classes and performances at large scale fitness events representing Crunch including Self magazine’s Workout in the Park, East Coast Alliance Day of Dance, Race for the Cure, and City of Hope. I also once proudly wore the Crunch “Bunny” costume at an ECA conference.• Appeared in local and nationally televised fitness programming on behalf of Crunch including ESPN2, VH1, CBS, NBC, FOX, The Health Network, and Live with Regis and Kathy Lee where I taught Regis and Kathy Lee the “Macarena” in 1996.
