Main focus on operations, process development and physician engagement.● Developed strategic business plan and implemented organizational structure for launching a managed services organization encompassing Network Development, Compliance, Talent, and Contracting; achieved a 25% reduction in operational costs within the first year. ● Led the negotiation and due diligence phases of a strategic merger, collaborating with legal, finance, and executive teams; successfully finalized the agreement, resulting in a 40% reduction in operational costs ● Working with practice leaders and executive teams to identify strategies for improving clinical quality, population health, revenue, and profitability as organizations transition from fee-for-service to value-based care delivery.

● Accountable for the development and management of a team of 5 Practice Transformation Specialists who provide in-office and collaborative-based facilitation and consultation services designed to engage and transform practices so that they continuously improve the value delivered to patients and payers. ● Accountable for the development and management of a team of 5 Panel Management Specialists who identify patients in need of preventive and chronic disease management services, performs outreach through multiple methods and tracks improvements in population metrics for practices. ● Launched first year with quality metric achievements in the top percentile nationally. ● Focus on HEDIS and Stars measures to ensure physician value based reimbursement increases. ● Lead Lean Clinical Quality Initiative program for three cycles for 5 practices in each cycle. Fifteen of 15 practices saw improvements in HEDIS measures. ● Clinical Quality Lead for Physician Organization of Michigan ACO. ● Managed all process improvement strategies across 12 physician organizations in the ACO, achieving second largest national shared savings payout.

● Project director for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) Challenge: implemented ImageSmart, an imaging clinical decision support tool, in member practices, focus on lowering use of inappropriate high tech imaging. ● Member of the Clinical Oversight Committee and Project Lead for United Physicians participation in the Physician Organization of Michigan Accountable Care Organization (POMACO) Group Practice Reporting Option. ● Created Patient Centered Home (PCMH) educational modules used to educate and inform physicians and staff on the principles of PCMH. ● Project director for Regional Steering Committees and Co-Project Director for Specialty Steering Committees: created and organized presentations and meetings for groups of physicians that facilitated discussion and collaboration. ● Created and presented many Clinical Quality Improvement presentations i.e. Annual Wellness Visit Implementation, Quality Performance of the ACO. ● Led a brief practice engagement with a Large Family Medicine Practice: focused on workflow changes to maximize HEDIS and BCBSM Quality Metrics as well as improved overall quality and utilization scores.

● Supported Altarum’s Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) Challenge project as the practice liaison. The CMMI project is working with a physician organization in Southeast Michigan to reduce inappropriate utilization of advanced, high-tech imaging such as CT and MRI. ● Liaison between the grant team and providers in the physician organization network. Utilized workflow analysis skills to create better communication between providers, specialists and testing facilities. Her health education background is providing the skills necessary for creating patient education materials regarding the high-tech imaging. This material will help patients understand the ordering practices of the physicians when it comes to MRI and CT scans. ● Supported the Targeted Process Optimization Team in creating and delivering the pilot project with a physician organization in Southeast Michigan. ● Member of the Targeted Process Optimization Group in creating practice transformation and sustainability programs. Utilizing past Lean Six Sigma training to teach, implement and create process improvement for medical practices in Michigan. Marketing and Sales for M-CEITA post project services to Specialists and past M-CEITA clients to ensure Health Information Technology sustainability in practices.

● Assisted physician networks with the implementation and integration of technology tools and process improvement activities within individual practices throughout Michigan. These tools include patient/disease registry, e-Prescribing, physician performance reporting and LEAN in Healthcare. ● Activities also include such initiatives as assisting practices attain certification as a Patient-Centered Medical Home.
