As Office Manager and Reservation Specialist, I performed many duties: Made reservations by phone and the Internet. As lead housekeeper on the 4:00 am shift I was responsible for a cleaning crew of 8 people at the time. This early morning crew was responsible for all the heavy cleaning each day. As the shift leader I was responsible for organizing and assigning the work each day for this shift as well as making sure it was all completed in the time allowed. Little Creek Casino was newly built and open at the time as a result I worked directly with the facilities manager, Gil Hanes and the housekeeping supervisor, Mary Walker to establish the most efficient methods, procedures and products for cleaning the casino. My crew cleaned the entire casino in our 8 hour shift this included a very large fore as well as the entire gaming floor at the time including all gaming tables and chairs, garbage, windows and ceiling security cameras, 6 large bathrooms, 2 restaurants, and employee lunchroom, all the offices including outside office trailers and empting outside garbage cans, a large bingo hall that included shampooing carpeting on a daily basses. We also did rotation cleaning of outside windows and grout work. Our shift also filled in for the staffing of the front valet parking as needed.
