I grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and relocated to Southern California with my family during my teens, and have enjoyed being a resident of Las Vegas for over 35 years. My career as an office/administrative professional began while in high school, working part time during my senior year. Over the years my career path led me to positions of increasing responsibility in varying industries and administrative settings.In 1991, I relocated to Las Vegas, to re-join my retired parents where I raised my son as a working single mom. Wanting to be able to provide better for my son, and wanting more from my professional life, I pursued higher education, completing my college degree (BS Human Services Management) in 2005, and continued to move up the ladder in the administrative field.I have a good sense of humor and weave that quality into my professional life when appropriate. I am a good listener, have a natural tendency towards problem solving, am detail oriented, a lover of structure, and enjoy a challenge. In my free time I enjoy live music, movies, stage shows, bargain hunting, Chicago style food, photography for fun, and most importantly - having time with family and friends.I have a continuing thirst for learning and growing in both personal and professional capacities. I believe my skills, abilities, background and personal tenacity will open many doors for me to explore, and will ultimately make me a positive, productive contributor to any organization.
