Provide telephone emotional support and encouragement and suicide risk assessment and prevention in connection with Canadian Suicide Prevention Services. Participate in the outbound call service to provide additional support to individuals in isolation, who struggle with mental issues, or who await mental health services. Help people in my community better cope with a crisis, loneliness, and emotional stress by communicating empathy, respect and acceptance.

Assist the facilitating team with the provision of a peer support group for grieving children. Work collaboratively to prepare and deliver the support group program. Respect and maintain boundaries, privacy and confidentiality. Positively convey empathy, hope and encouragement, providing a compassionate, non-judgmental environment.
