With extensive experience in higher education, public open spaces, downtown environments, and natural system corridors, I foster consensus based solutions that address the spectrum of issues impacting outdoor space. I seek meaningful solutions within a project’s constraints, and build public pride through places that are true to their local culture and context.I work from conceptualization through construction, implementing LEED and sustainable design measures, permitting requirements, maintenance and longevity considerations, and contextual meaning into each of my designs as integral components, not last minute add-ons. I have experience in midwestern, southern, and southwestern landscapes.
