Working as a Freelance Graphic Designer I create print and digital marketing collateral such as adverts, brochures, handbooks, signage, programmes and merchandise to promote the College.Key achievements include:• Working with the newly-formed (2022) Hurst Education Trust, I designed prospectus brochures for other local primary schools who have joined the trust, including Ditchling (St Margaret's) Primary and Nursery School.• Designing 12 ‘feather’ banner flags for each of the school houses for their sports events.• Designing printed marketing brochures for prospective parents, including a range of school prospectus brochures and an inspection results brochure.• Advert design and artworking for publication in local and educational magazines, online adverts and digital railway station adverts (London Victoria).• Drama and dance programmes for school productions including Footloose; Pinocchio; Bugsy Malone; Into the Woods and Matilda.• Designing sponsorship artwork on display at two cricket grounds including the Sussex County Cricket Ground in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex.• Continued design work for the hugely successful Hurst Stage musical theatre summer school. The company holds the world’s largest collection of specialist travel brands.I worked across four brands in the Tailormade sector; Hayes & Jarvis, Sovereign, Citalia and Austravel. These brands specialise in luxury and personalised holidays to destinations across the world.My work involved designing and artworking the following print and digital publications:• Luxury holiday brochures• Inspirational travel guides and magazines• Magazine inserts for national newspapers• Adverts for national newspapers and magazines• Digital banners for marketing emails and websites• Booklets and postcards for direct mail/cold data mailings• Printed marketing collateral, such as postcards and branded calendars• Marketing materials for a travel exhibition in LondonKey achievements:• Booklets on display at the ‘Destinations: Holiday and Travel Show’ in London.• New advert designs for the rebranded Citalia and Sovereign companies (2018). I was responsible for the design of promotional flyers, booklets and brochures, including print and digital media.Key achievements include:• Branding for a new musical theatre summer school, ‘Hurst Stage’, launched in 2015. This included the logo design, printed materials and artwork for merchandise and clothing.• Logo design for the College’s ‘20 years of girls’ anniversary celebrations in 2015.• Advertising campaign to promote Hurst Prep School, including the concept, pitching, photography, design and preparing artwork for print/digital output.• Designing a collection of exhibition display stands for events.• Leading the redesign of a new website (launched in 2016).
