Provided an effective and comprehensive recruitment & selection service to all of WWF-UK including devolved country offices. Ensuring that WWF-UK’s recruitment practices are fair and in line with current legislation and enhancing processes to streamline activity and ensure a best practice approach. During this role I recruited over 75 roles in a wide variety of disciplines in a 5 month timeframe from ratification of post to induction, I created a Recruitment and Selection Toolkit to guide managers through each step of the process and I negotiated to reduce advertising rates with recruitment agencies across the board to 15% of salary.

I managed the day to day HR operational services to a wide range of internal and external customers within a social care context often deputising for the HR Director working within an exceptionally busy work environment. During this role I developed an Investigations Toolkit to provide support on each step for managers asked to lead an investigation. I set up a group of champions and trained them to undertake more complex investigations and coach less experienced managers as well as holding quarterly evaluate and sharing meetings to enhance learning, I managed all aspects of the recruitment function ensuring that the organisation engaged the highest quality workforce, often recruiting for up to 20 Support Workers at a time and managing recruitment assessment days for senior care managers and Directors. My role was to manage the implementation, co-ordination and evaluation of the organisational work based learning plan. I provided advice and support on complex employee relations issues and I provided employee reports on attrition, absence, compensation, annual leave, overtime costs and headcount for KPI and MI purposes.
