Private Banker
CurrentEighteen years ago, after completing University with degrees in Finance and Management, I did not know what career direction to take. I accepted a job at ScotiaMcLeod to replace an assistant going on maternity leave. Two weeks later, I was reassigned to another department and I was not sure how much longer I would be working for Scotia. Never, did I imagine that this would turn into a CAREER with ScotiaBank. In 2006, I made the transition to retail banking where I worked in Retail, Small Business and Management. I was always looking for new ways to build relationships with staff and clients and look for opportunities to create value in the advice I would provide (personally and financially).I am saddened to leave my Pincourt team & Branch that I had taken over when it was 6 months old. Over the past 5 years, I have been a part of its growth within the community and I have contributed to the bank growing its reputation in the western part of Montreal. I have developed very specific skills and proficiencies as well as made many great connections along the way. After being in management for the past 8 years, I have decided to go back to what I love most: my clients. I will be joining one of the fastest growing businesses of the bank, a cornerstone of our Scotia Wealth Management Division, Scotia Private Banking, as a Private Banker. My objective has always been and will always be the same: to continuously be transparent (with clients and colleagues) and find ways to increase their value. I am confident that Private Banking will provide me additional tools and opportunities to offer my personalized services to High Net Worth Families. Here's to the next 18 years!
