Current• Provide one-on-one counseling with 20-30 military personnel per week to provide resources available for transitioning from the military to the civilian employment sector.• Instruct Veterans Opportunity to Work (VOW Act) classes to military personnel relaying information about transitioning from the military and differences in the civilian workforce to 15-50 service members at a time.• Deliver job assistance training in group or individual settings, conduct individual counseling sessions, and other job assistance activities such as resume critiques, and social media networking skills.• Ensure separating service members complete career readiness standards as laid out in the VOW Act such as, Pre-separation Briefing, Individual Counseling, and Capstone Review.• Assist Contract Installation Manager (CIM) with notifying service members who have not completed the requirements they need, following up with emails, and delivering commander’s reports.• Participate in employment events and marketing activities such as job fairs.
