In this role I use my years of experience of the Primary Dairy business to various Efficiency and compliance Projects across the cluster.

Business Partnering all functions across the site and cluster.Overseeing the Operations Finance function, to provide a value add service to the manufacturing operation.Implementing change and improvement to finance function.Talent management and development- continued focus on succession planning and developing our graduates.Projects- I am project manager on a project to develop and implement a Supplier Claims system. The Ops Finance function will drive this initiative to ensure, all costs attributable to 3rd parties are recouped, where commercially feasible.I was a member of the reference group, to ensure the product costing solution in SAP, fits the requirements of our milk processing sites. I am currently supporting the transition between systems and supporting the various functions, with trouble-shooting.

I have gained experience working with all the functions from Financial control, Commercial Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, ICT. This role involved the preparation of monthly management accounts, analysis of Production costs, Variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.Highlighting key variances to management, potential savings.I would have co-ordinated the Budget Process on site, liaising with all function budget holders.I would have played a leadership role in preparing for our annual audit and liaised with the auditors on site during audits.I worked on the Kerryconnect Project Planning, implementing SAP system on the Listowel, Charleville and Newmarket sites in 2013/2014.I was the superuser for Product Costing. This project was postponed at the time, but is due to go -live in Oct 2017

This role was a support role a and was a link between Ops Finance Function and the Commercial function. I was OLAP Superuser, a newly developed database for all sales data. I was responsible for its masterdata accuracy.I was also responsible for monthly reconciliations of database to financial accounts.

I held various accounting role during this period from Assistant Accountant in the Powder SBU, which consisted of two Spray Dyrers, a Blending plant, a milk crumb plant. I was Plant Accountant for the Process Cheese SBU, overseeing Product Costing, Margin Management, budgeting.I also was Service Accountant (Maternity Leave cover). This role had financial responsibility for all Site Services on site and their Budgets e.g, Energy, Maintenance, Quality, Warehousing, Waste treatment and other Site Services.
