With over 30 years of experience in healthcare, including 20 years in leadership and management roles, I have consistently focused on enhancing healthcare quality and patient safety. I am pleased to bring this extensive knowledge and a deep commitment to quality improvement to my role as Programme Manager with the HSE Global Health Programme.My dedication to quality improvement is further strengthened by an international fellowship with the NHS Institute of Innovation and Improvement and the completion of the Improvement Advisor Programme with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). These experiences have sharpened my ability to drive impactful change and promote excellence in healthcare delivery.Throughout my career, I have mentored and supported numerous healthcare professionals, helping them to develop their quality improvement skills and achieve meaningful results. I believe that fostering a culture of continuous learning and development is essential for driving sustainable improvement in healthcare.I am also deeply committed to universal access to healthcare and ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care.
