I am currently employed by Carten Controls in the role of Buyer – I control the complete purchase of all plant consumables, along with inventory required in manufacturing departments. This role includes working with vendors to ensure the best price available on items, excellent lead times and also planning to ensure stock is always available to cover production needs. I have also been tasked with the production of SOPs for our department to ensure current practices have the correct procedure available for review. Further to this, over the last number of years, I was engaged in B2B/B2C business development, customer relations and procurement within the logistics sector, having spent the majority of my working life in the administration/accounting aspect of business, an area in which I excel. Through my working life I have built connections with customers, always ensuring excellent service in both administrative and relational endeavours.
