I am building great engineering teams for Seccl and responsible for the recruitment, on-boarding and progression of engineers. I work closely with Product Managers across a number of cross functional squads ensuring quality and flow of delivery making Seccl’s Custody and Trading function the most efficient and disruptive in the industry. While being hands-off with code I have the experience to contribute and help guide technical discussions to ensure the squads are empowered to build the best products while focusing on quality, test automation, frequent deployments , supportability and agile practices.

I managed a team of software developers and QA's who were responsible for the digital transformation of the vehicle remarketing function within ALD. I built a team of full stack .NET developers, taking them on an agile journey.

As Head of Software Development I manage a team of software developers, analysts and testers who deliver the HESA portfolio of data analysis products across a number of multifunctional self organising scrum teams.As Product Owner for one of the core products I am responsible for building the vision of the product, conveying this to the development team, managing the product backlog and working with stakeholders to understand their requirements and priorities.

I was part of the management team involved in the buy-out of Globavista from Masternaut. As part of this process I was responsible for de-coupling all internal and external IT infrastructure from the parent company. This involved extensive project management for the separation of a Co-Location hosting facility, implementing new internal systems and establishing new supplier contracts.I managed all technical aspects of the companies AIS & Maritime SaaS products. I directly managed an internal software team of 5 and a number of external software resources. The SaaS products were web based utilising the full Microsoft stack, with a heavy emphasis on front end UI development using JavaScript and Angular.js.I was heavily involved with all aspects of the delivery of the companies SaaS products, from pre-sales support, project management through to product development and delivery. I particularly enjoyed the stakeholder and project management aspects of the role and have the ability to build effective long-term relationships with clients.
