As a seasoned wildlife biologist with a PhD in Conservation Science, my career combines my passion for the natural world with my unique blend of quantitative and qualitative skills. My journey began in Scotland, but it was Southeast Asia that truly captured my professional heart. Since 2005, I've been deeply involved in wildlife monitoring, research, and conservation across Cambodia, Vietnam, and Lao PDR.My expertise spans a wide range of areas, including wildlife rehabilitation, human-wildlife conflict mitigation, illegal wildlife trade, population monitoring, habitat quality, and threat assessments. I am proficient in Lao and am currently learning Vietnamese, which allows me to engage more effectively with local communities and stakeholders.At the Saola Foundation, we are proud to be at the forefront of scientific conservation. As CEO, I am privileged to lead an exceptional team of dedicated individuals who are as passionate about conservation as I am. Together, we are making a significant impact on the Annamite Mountains Conservation.
