Presently I work as a school based Vice Principal rooted in equity as I serve students and families at Albion Heights JMS, an inner city TDSB Model School in Rexdale, Ontario. I strive to work with students, teachers, families and communities to create positive change, and increase student achievement, well-being and engagement. My experiences also include working at DPCDSB, where I was a Special Education Resource Teacher(SERT)/ English as a Second Language Teacher and Lead for my school (ESL), K-8 Classroom teacher and Planning Time teacher in various elementary schools in Mississauga and Brampton. As a Special Education Teacher I also had the opportunity of leading the Sanctuary North Elementary Program for Junior & Intermediate students. (Mental Health and Well-being focused Special Education Class for MOE), in collaboration with Oscar Romero SS at DPCDSB.
