KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Consultant: Project Management (education and training), partnership development-public/private sectorKEY ACHIEVEMENTS:►Twist Partnership–Youth Contract, Skills Support for the Unemployed, Work Programme- engaged employers, Local Authority departments, third sector organisations, to support an empowerment programme, building confidence at the same time as building English and employability skills;recruited partners to support the delivery of Skills Support for the Unemployed; recruited employers to support English as a Second Language speakers.►Elizabeth Jarman Ltd, Communication Friendly Spaces™–devised Quality assurance and internal efficiency reviews 14-19 Educational Reform-►Business in The Community (BITC) facilitated engagement of employers with schools to increase business involvement►Development of partnership to facilitate collaborative working across two boroughs,involving- schools, employers and other stakeholders to deliver Diploma in Business and Finance. Wrote successful Gateway bid to allow programme to be piloted early.►Southwark Pathfinder – Interim Manager responsible for Southwark Lambeth Engineering Diploma. Recruited and facilitated Consortium Steering and curriculum groups. Wrote successful Gateway bid (awarded Category 1) successful capital bid for £1m. Project noted for good practice. Highlighted by DFE, SEMTA. Subject of Ministerial visits to look at emerging lessons►Design and management of Quality Assurance system internal evaluation and audit for two DFE and DWP national Skills for Life projects tackling Adult Basic Skills through Sure Start and Children’s Centres.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Increase young people's access to education, training and employment through: employer engagement, partnership building; project and programme management.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:►Successful working with private and public sector employers including–Restaurant Associates, KPMG, Chartwells, PwC, LB Camden, LB Hackney, Eurostar, MACE, LB Southwark, Crossrail, Hilton, Carlson Wagonlit, BA plc, to deliver training, apprenticeship and employment programmes.►Delivering careers insight and employability programmes for Key Stage 4 and Sixth form students on behalf of schools and Academies. ►Managing, commissioning and delivering training to young people, including: vulnerable, hard to reach, young offenders. 90% progression into education, training or employment through programmes including- Nacro ‘InTouch ESF, Future Jobs Fund; Schools engagement. LDA/ ESF Work and Apprenticeships in Hospitality, Leisure, travel and tourism►Education Partnership development: schools/academies, FE colleges, Universities in Southwark, Lambeth, Westminster, Lewisham; Youth Charities Barnardo’s, Fairbridge, Nacro; London JCPs(¯`*•.Recommendation from Gary Phillips, Head teacher, Lilian Baylis Technology school: ”I have worked with Lorraine over a number of years.
