I am the Group Sales & Marketing Director for the Irish owned and managed 5 star Bonnington Hotel in Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), which boasts 188 bedrooms, 20 suites and 272 apartments. Currently we have 7 conference rooms, 4 of which can cater for up to 100 pax, I am responsible for overseeing sales, marketing and revenue for the properties. I oversee all contracting with tour operators, airlines (such as Emirates and Etihad), online travel operators and corporate clients.

Letterkenny, Co.Donegal

In June 2013, the McGettigan's group took over the management contract for the Clanree Hotel, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. The Clanree Hotel boasts a new ballroom where we can cater for up to 1200 guests, making us the largest function room in the North West of Ireland. All 120 rooms in the hotel have been refurbished to 4* standard and our goal is to reach that status by early next year.

Involved with the Bonnington Hotel Dublin (formerly known as the Regency Hotel) for over 29 years. Deals with all third party operators i.e. Expedia / Lastminute.com / Orbitz / Bookings.com and oversees the online marketing for the Bonnington Hotel and Cavendish Hotel websites.Deals with all contracting for both FIT and Group business.Negotiates all rates for Groups which involves dealing with Ireland & the UK largest Tour Operators. Attends many trade shows within the UK, Europe & the States.Refurbishment program currently in process in the Bonnington hotel , with the main emphasis on upgrading 250 bedrooms. Our function room can cater for up to 800 people and we are very proud of our state of the art Leisure centre.

Involved with the Cavendish Hotel for 12 years. Deals with all third party operators i.e. Expedia / Orbitz / Bookings.com and oversees the online marketing for the Regency Hotel and Cavendish Hotel websites.Deals with all contracting for both FIT and Group business.Negotiates all rates for Groups which involves dealing with Ireland & the UK largest Tour Operators. Attends many trade shows within the UK, Europe & the States.We are proud to announce we opened ESPA in May 2014.
