In this role, I administer the delivery of services to clients as well as provide support to business development and client management. Serving as a link between business management and clients, as client support manager, I play an integral role in business communications.As Client Support Manager, my role is to ensure that our customers receive outstanding support and all their needs are met. This may involve creating customer support policies and procedures to adhere to, and assisting unsatisfied customers. I oversee the customer support department’s day-to-day functions.Aside from the above-mentioned tasks, I also manage our Academy WebPortal where our MRM Course can be accessed by our clients and students.I am involved in almost all major processes and operations in the Company.I still conduct/facilitate training and seminars related to Resource Management, Cultural Awareness/Diversity, Team Building and Communications.

Responsible for the Mariner Attitude Survey (MAS), coordination work, project development and client relations. Providing direct assistance regarding Maritime Resource Management (MRM) programme matters to our clients and training providers.I provide support and assist our Managing Director in planning Train the Trainer events, yearly renewals process (invoicing and follow-up), after-event follow-ups and online course administration.I am also responsible for managing the web contents of our website, writing and editing articles and carrying out a wide array of administrative duties.In addition, I also conduct (as the need arises) and facilitate workshops on Cultural Diversity among seafarers & understanding the Filipino seaman for shipping companies and interested parties.I have also facilitated a 3-day team building course for a company in Sweden. The end goal is to increase cooperation, teamwork, improve communication among team members, build trust, in order to have a more engaged workforce working for a common goal and increasing contribution to the success of the organisation/company.My job at The Swedish Club Academy is an evolving one which is very interesting and challenging at the same time. This means that I am able to do so much more than the routinary tasks. It motivates me to excel and to go beyond the limits of my capabilities. Since I am quite new in this branch, I am learning a lot everyday.

Managed the organisation as a whole and its activities. Our main program is a scholarship program for the youth who want to continue their education on the tertiary level (College/University) but doesn't have the financial resources. At the same time, we have capacity building (trainings, seminars and projects) to help our scholars do better and prepare them in their future career life. I oversee the organisation's day-to-day operation and also build contact networks for possible cooperation. Project and organisational planning as well as writing annual reports were part of my job.

I handled and coordinated a USAID funded project in the ARMM for in-school youth. We conducted trainings and youth camps for the youth to empower them with leadership skills and prepare them for the challenges ahead to be better leaders of the future. I have also liaised with the different stakeholders, both from the government and private sectors, in order to work together in achieving common goals of the programme. At the end of the project, our young leaders came up with different projects for their schools and communities and the project helped them in the realisation and implementation of their projects.

Wrote reports about the project and coordinated with the different stakeholders mainly on the Post Conflict Community Development Project in Central Mindanao, Philippines. It was funded by a Dutch organization, OXFAM-NOVIB. The focus was rebuilding post conflict communities, strengthening networks and organising communities through capacity building. Focus group discussions and providing livelihood projects to different community sectors were also conducted.

Region Xi - Davao, Philippines

Worked with the Supply Chain of Vegetables in Mindanao in collaboration with Curtin University in Australia. Our research was funded by the Australian Center for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR). My task was mainly gathering data, running statistical analysis out of the data gathered, conducting focus group discussions with farmer groups and contributing to the team's research outputs and papers. Our team worked closely with our Australian consultants and we were stationed in Western Australia for almost 3 months.

I was involved in an international collaboration between an Australian University (Curtin University in Perth) and my employer, University of the Philippines Mindanao. It was a Multi-Disciplinary research on the supply chain of vegetable. During my stay at Muresk, I worked with one of our Australian consultants on analyzing research data and contributing to the research paper as our output.
