I have five years of experience using my creative skills to create commercial prints, graphics & illustrations for several international brands including Primark, Morrisons, Disney, Target & K-mart. I'm highly experienced in everything from florals, paisleys and typography to cute, novelty prints & characters. My main client during this time has been Primark, for whom, I've developed successful homeware, kidswear and nightwear ranges. I've worked with the buying teams to create prints (puff, foil, glitter, flock etc.), appliques & embroidered design garments for commercial retail. During this time, I've also created complimentary packaging and labelling for many of the products.

-Working closely with the design teams to develop trends, including print and graphic direction to communicate to the buying team.-Designing placement graphics, and all-over-patterns for both novelty and fashion nightwear ranges, Pj separates, loungewear, socks, lingerie, homeware & stationary. -Designing check patterns for woven products in the range. -Developing accompanying packaging & shout stickers for the products. -Working under strict deadlines to have artwork ready in time to send to suppliers to meet production deadlines. -Referring to trend packs and collaborating with the buying team to create highly commercial ranges, which would be distributed to all Primark stores in Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal & The USA. -Advising suppliers on garment styles, shapes, trimmings, including embroidery , applique and stitching. -Preparing CADS to send out to suppliers for manufacturing, advising them on the realisation of prints, the detail and techniques to use, including applique embroidery etc. -Analysis of production samples, strike offs and and advise on improvements to ensure high quality. -Design mood boards, reports, and presentations for the buying team.
