I joined Vobis as their marketing manager, however after 2yrs it was a natural progression to use my previous business experience to take on the role of operations manager. Within this role I continued to lead all marketing initiatives but outsourced the actual production to an external agency, ensuring my talents were more optimally used elsewhere.I was instrumental in developing working relationship with external stakeholders such as accountancy practices in London and it was my responsibility to identify mutually beneficial business and marketing opportunities. To do this, I worked with the partners to educate them on the different products and services we could offer, and together we selected clients who would benefit from particular products or financial planning. This started from a simple email, but as the partners came to realise the benefits developed to live Zoom presentations accompanied with different marketing collateral aimed at the partners and the end client.Due to the success of this initiative, it was decided in 2019 to launch Silver Levene Financial and I was tasked with the overall management of this company, including recruitment, training, compliance, product development, marketing and process implementation.Whilst at Vobis I also managed both the Hull and London offices and all employees. I also fulfilled the HR role and was responsible for Payroll using Moneysoft and the business accounts using Xero. I was required to present to the Directors, company financials: showing income and expenditure; forecasting against budgets and the sales pipeline. I reported turnaround times and highlighted any potential capacity issues or business interruptions.
